Worked from home today. Mailed a package. Took pictures on my way back home.

My neighborhood is awesome.

Days off...

...make me frustrated with my life.

Industrial Beauty

I work in a pretty industrial area, And while most people find that to be something of an eye sore, I enjoy it.

So in the spirit of taking a picture a day, I figured I'd start where I always am. I took some on my way home from work.

Yeah... been pretty horrible at keeping this up.

So here's the speed run of what you missed.

- Worked as a swimming instructor, a Shedd Aquarium retail associate, and now am customer service in a boatyard on the Southside of Chicago.
- Moved out of the apt with 3 roommates, and in with the boyfriend.
- Boyfriend got a job in NY and moved away.
- Roommate and I had a legal battle with the landlord of that apt.
- Moved out and into a new apt.

So... yup. Been busy.

I've decided to turn this into a photo blog. Makes me take more pictures and gives you something interesting to look at for a change.

Aaaannnndd, cue the redesign.

Who ever thought being unemployed would make one so busy?

The job search continues, but some progress has been made. I have been talking with Jason again, and we now have not only a concept, but two installation spaces already lined up. Networked chimes to be shown in Stockholm and Oslo.

International... this is the big leagues.

We're aiming for NIME in May. Lichty will be in on it too.

I'll update when I know more.

It is time.

Feeling kind of torn today.

I am comfortable here in Chicago. I have a wonderful apartment is a gorgeous neighborhood, and am surrounded by great friends.

But I feel like I am being called away. I don't know where to...

It scares me. 

Growing up, I was moved around a lot. School to school. State to state. I never went 4 years without a major life change.
